The Sr. IT Support Engineer is responsible for the design, planning, setup, monitoring, maintenance and security of a core TNAA system. This role also participates in the planning and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure system provisioning and maintenance that is consistent with company goals, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements. The Sr. IT Support Engineer will also support escalated ticket requests.

Here's what you'll be doing:

  1. Work with IT leadership to recommend enhanced, strategic planning by completing various system-related problem projects either independently or by facilitating resolution in partnership with vendor(s)
  2. Maintain and/or create proper documentation of assigned core system(s) by monitoring and analyzing logs and statistics and making recommendations for infrastructure changes to IT leadership
  3. Perform capacity monitoring of server infrastructure and maintain plans for equipment acquisition and replacement
  4. Monitor, assess, and mitigate server and platform security related issues; lead the coordination of remediation efforts with IT leadership
  5. Maintain security of server infrastructure, both physical and virtual, through active patching and upgrades of software and firmware
  6. Assist IT staff with escalated troubleshooting and encourage knowledge growth among IT staff
  7. Expand development of knowledgebase of IT Infrastructure procedures and process methodology
  8. Configure and deploy virtual servers for infrastructure requirements
  9. Develop and implement effective backup schedules and disaster recovery procedures in partnership with appropriate vendor(s)
  10. Perform advanced troubleshooting, diagnosis, and issue resolution
  11. Utilize excellent service skills to exceed support expectations

Here's what we're looking for:

  • Ten (10) years related experience and/or training in the following (or equivalent combination of education and experience):
    • Standard client / server, VMware, networking, and internet fundamentals
    • Technical proficiency in Enterprise Email flow with Microsoft Exchange preferred
    • Windows Server 2019 / 2022 administration in a virtual environment
    • Understanding of Cloud Infrastructure and its interaction with On-Prem (Hybrid Cloud)
  • Hands-on/working experience with upgrading, configuring, troubleshooting, performance tuning and capacity planning of core infrastructure components
  • Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues effectively and in a timely manner
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills
  • Adept at reading, writing, and interpreting technical documentation and procedure manuals
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Skilled at working within a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Ability to conduct research into hardware and software issues and products as required

Compensation:

The base salary for this role is $67,500-$77,600.year.  Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including prior experience, expertise & may vary from the amount above.
