The Internal Communications Specialist will work as an integral member of TNAA’s marketing and communications department and will execute TNAA internal communication efforts. The focus of this position is development of content and execution of strategic communication for internal audiences. Additionally, the Internal Communications Specialist will support internal branding efforts to enhance company culture and adherence to brand guidelines.

Here's What You'll Be Doing:

  1. Ensure that the TNAA core values, vision, mission statement, and marketing strategy are understood among the internal employees.
  2. Supports internal branding efforts to enhance company culture, which also includes employee engagement
  3. Executes on overall internal communication strategy
  4. Designs, develops content (written, video, etc.), edits and supports internal communication requests and maintains consistent messaging to support brand guidelines and company culture.
  5. Acts as a communication liaison across departments and drives interdepartmental communication.
  6. Gathers information for new content to support company activities and initiatives within established guidelines
  7. Owns regularly scheduled communications such as weekly content updates, monthly company updates, quarterly internal communication newsletter, etc. and is responsible for gathering information and prioritizing messaging.
  8. Maintains strict confidentiality in departmental and company updates
  9. Identify opportunities for better internal communication, including establishing feedback channels.
  10. Continually evaluates and analyzes company engagement surveys to identify communication opportunities

Here's What We Are Looking For:

  • At least 1 years experience in copywriting, content development, design, or strategic content. Advanced computer skills including MS Office applications and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • At least 1-year direct experience handling internal communications for a medium-to-large company.
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Compensation:

The base salary range for this role is $23.08-$25.48 per hour with annual bonus opportunity.  Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including prior experience, expertise & many vary from the amount above.

All remote positions (working full-time from home) must meet the internet connection requirements established by the TNAA IT Department to sufficiently perform the position responsibilities and use TNAA specific software and equipment. Your internet service cannot be provided by satellite and must meet one of the following:

 

1.      Direct wired connection to your modem

2.      A dedicated line

3.      Modem in the same room as equipment

4.      At least 20 Mbps Download Speed

OR

1.      Direct wired connection to your modem

2.      A shared line

3.      Modem in the same room as equipment

4.      At least 50 Mbps Download Speed
