Responsibilities

What you’ll do:

The Client Insights Partner (CIP) works with multiple clients to deliver financial planning & analysis (FP&A) services by leveraging accounting data, systems, and technology managed by our operations teams. The Client Insights Partner provides support to our clients to execute on their business’ objectives through effective planning, as well as measuring and monitoring their businesses’ performance. 

  • Execute on the program’s implementation and ongoing client support.
  • Partner with the Financial Operations team to leverage accounting information, processes, and systems to drive value, effectiveness, and efficiency of the Insights-aspect of the engagement.  
  • Deliver the outcomes of the program in a manner that is digestible for the client and its audiences and will serve as a resource to the business’ leadership, providing ongoing FP&A support to assist in the management of their business.
  • Successfully execute on the following Client Insights services in strict accordance with the Supporting Strategies Client Service delivery model including but not limited to the following areas. 
  • Comprehensive Financial Reporting, Analysis & Support
  • KPI (Key Performance Indicator) Development & Reporting
  • Budgeting & Financial Modeling
  • Cash Planning & Cash Management Support
  • Cap Table Management
  • Manage consistent and productive client communications while building strong understanding of each client’s business.
  • Serve as a key resource and trusted advisor as it relates to the client insights’ services provided to maximize the value and longevity of the client engagements assigned. 
  • Serve as an expert-user on all standard technology tools utilized in the provision of Client Insights including but not limited to QBO, Netsuite, Fathom, Carta, and Excel.  Research and bring solutions to your client engagements and to financial operations leadership as it relates to solutions to support clients’ needs and to impact greater value, insight, and/or efficiency.

Qualifications

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business is required
  • A minimum of 8+ years of professional experience in Financial, Planning & Analysis roles
  • Experience in financial analysis, budgeting, financial modeling, and executive reporting are required
  • Strong core understanding of accounting concepts, income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements as well as their interrelationship is required
  • Experience with Treasury Management and cash management a plus
  • Advanced Excel skills are required
  • Experience with Fathom or other advanced data analysis tools a plus
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to distill information to a wide range of audiences
