Job Description

We are looking for an Employee Communications Manager to join our creative, hard-working, and fun global SAP SuccessFactors communications team to develop and execute a measurable and impactful internal communications strategy that informs and inspires our global workforce. The ideal candidate has a passion for finding new and impactful ways to engage employees and demonstrated experience partnering with, and developing content for, C-level executives. This role will report to the Head of Communications for Marketing & Solutions and Customer Success and partner closely with the teams across the end-to-end business.

Role Description & Responsibilities

  • Produce highest-quality communications materials, including presentations, emails, announcements, video scripts, social media copy, blogs, and other thought leadership content.
  • Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders, including sales, marketing, product, PR/AR, and HR to tell stories that are compelling for all audiences.
  • Responsible for building and executing an internal communications strategy, with particular focus on motivating and enabling our global employees.
  • Develop a robust communications practice that support senior-level executives and leaders throughout the company, help them to engage with employees and share timely, relevant business information.
  • Establish proven methodologies and procedures to guide consistent and quality communications across all teams and regions.
  • Act as managing editor of our weekly newsletter and owner of other key communications channels, including our intranet and all hands meetings.
  • Develop additional programs to drive company-wide alignment to our mission, vision, and strategy and help foster an innovation culture.
  • Consistently report on employee sentiment and provide action plans to address feedback.
  • Support global corporate communications events where appropriate.

  • Strong understanding of enterprise software and sales in a communications practice
  • Must be a self-starter, motivated individual who works well under pressure
  • Strong collaboration and project management skills
  • Able to simplify messaging and influence teams and stakeholders at all levels
  • Critical and strategic thinker and creative problem solver

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years formal communications experience
  • Proven success building and implementing internal communications programs
  • Senior Executive Communications experience
  • A pro at developing powerful stories, has superb writing skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field
  • Strong metric and analytic skillset; ability to quantify the impact of internal communications programs and initiative to measure outcomes.
  • Video editing experience a plus
